UNTOLD was launched in 2018 when Samantha Liu and Annabel Hickton decided to join forces to build on their more than 30 years’ combined experience delivering the highest level of bespoke service to clients, honing their unique design touch on some of the most high-profile projects of the past decade.

Samantha and Annabel met at renowned London design studio Candy & Candy while working together on the iconic One Hyde Park development. Annabel spent 6 years there as a creative lead, before setting up Annabel Hickton Design in 2012. Samantha spent the past 8 years as the creative lead on projects at Candy & Candy and Carlisle Design Studio.

They have been adding their unique design touch to numerous top-end luxury residential projects around the world including Europe, Asia and the United States. They also have extensive experience with aviation and yacht design.

With a strong track record in looking after a large variety of clients from diverse backgrounds, they are sensitive to clients’ needs and are committed on helping their clients’ personal tastes shine through in their projects. Samantha and Annabel’s style is virtually unlimited. Their designs are holistically considered to communicate clients’ ideas and express the essence of their personality.

Rather than imposing a single ‘house style’, the design team takes the time to gain an in-depth understanding of their patrons to paint a picture of what their ‘dream home’ looks like. Armed with this detailed brief and a holistic approach the designs are developed in a tailored way with imagination, vision and attention to detail drawing on years of experience.
